Star Gazing Farm is a farm animal sanctuary that provides a safe haven to abused, stray, and neglected farm animals; these animals come to us via animal control, other non profit agencies, and from individuals. We rehabilitate them and provide them with a permanent home. We also run an active network through which we help place the animals we are unable to take ourselves into responsible homes. At our location in Boyds, MD we run an educational work program for young people in the community to learn about farm life and the humane care of animals, and to help them learn about both teamwork and leadership.
