That is Dedicated to the rescue and rehabilation of physically or emotionally disabled animals. Rivendel is a care-for-life sanctuary that exists solely for the benfit for animals that, due to thier individual limitations, cannot be placed for adoption or foster care. Many of the residents here have been abused,abanoned,neglected or are just no longer necessary.
Although Rivendel is home to a variety of animals,our passion and priiority is towards equines(horses,ponies,donkeys,etc..)as they are commonly the most misunderstood and mistreated of all domesticated creatures.
They come to Rivendel to mend broken bodies and heal shattered sprites,to learn how to love and trust. to have their physical, emotional,nutritional and medical needs met and above all to live in peace.
